I recently gave birth to my first child in Epsom General Hospital. I was referred to Miss Ammar when I was pregnant and saw her several times before I gave birth. She was absolutely amazing throughout. When my waters broke, I made several attempts to give birth naturally but due to complications I ended up having an emergency Caesarian. Miss Ammar stayed late to carry out the operation and afterwards visited me in the recovery room. She also took the time to visit me on the ward regularly, which I found very re-assuring. I will always be grateful to her. Miss Ammar is very professional, kind and genuinely caring. She is very knowledgable, has a very positive attitude and a great sense of humour. She goes way above and beyond what is expected of her. It is no wonder there are so many positive reviews on this website. Miss Ammar is a lovely person and a first class doctor. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Miss Ammar was extremely kind and made every effort to take good care of me. Unfortunately my first operation date had to be rescheduled. Miss Ammar took the time to explain the problem and bent over backwards to try to avoid it being rescheduled. She was very kind, chatty and friendly. It was also reassuring to know that she would be doing the rescheduled operation. She came to see me before the operation, and remembered me from previously. After the operation, she deliberately waited until the anaesthetic had worn off to come and explain what she had found. She also made sure that she saw me the next day - even track me down in the discharge lounge to do so! She didn't leave until she was sure that I had no more questions to ask. I am very happy with the care that I received.

I didn't see Miss Ammar until the day of my hysterectomy. She was confident, calm and happy and talked me through the operation in a very professional way and explained the procedure thoroughly and told me what could happen if things didn't go as planned, without any drama. She instilled confidence in me and I went down to the operation with no apprehension. After the operation she came to see me and again the following morning. Everything went perfectly and I have never felt more healthy. I went home the following day, having spent only 48 hours in hospital in total. I highly recommend this doctor and nobody should hesitate in seeing her. Thank you very much Miss Ammar,
